My great-aunt Caroline had a major stroke the other night. She is responsive, but not fully concious at this point, and there is still some bleeding in the brain, so they do not know what the prognosis is at this point. Prayers and positive thoughts are appreciated for her and her husband as well as the rest of the family.
Update:
My grandmother has passed on that Caroline is still stable, and her husband is able to visit her regularly. They remain hopeful that she will be able to return home eventually.

I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. I will keep her and her family in my prayers. I hope that the prognosis is good and that she can make a good recovery.

You may not know... Aunt Caroline is also my godmother. I was flowergirl at their wedding when I was in 3rd grade. She's very special to me. My mom, Caroline's older sister, is doing most of the hospital stuff... signing consent forms, etc. since Uncle Fred physically can't be there. She's also doing Uncle Fred's care since Caroline can't do that. For those of you reading this who don't know... Uncle Fred, her husband, is a paraplegic, totally paralyzed from the waist down.
