I posted a link to this thread on a private website I spend time at has a pretty rigid no politics rule. On election day I made a post encouraging people to vote, and linked to this. The owner of the site objected, suspeneded my posting privleges, and when I asked he said I made a political post and a link to a "left-wing website".

OK- It gets better... The FDP asks for a $30 donation annually to maintian posting privleges, etc. I renewed my membership a few days before all this started. And when I asked if I could be reinstated, the owner replied that I could for another $30. So, instead of sending the Fender Discussion Page yet another $30, I'm sending it to morydd.net instead.
