While I believe that guilty prisoners should, at the very least, work to pay for thier keep, the idea of charging someone wrongfully imprisoned is a bit on the completely-fucking-ridiculous side. I want to figure out how to add something like this to this page.The big picture would be something I would add, which would then force the current "big" pic to become the top thumbnail, each of the other thumbs to drop down one and the last one to go away. I'd like each of the pics to link to the respective image in my gallery. I'm sure it could be done, I could do it manually without too much effort, but it'd be great if I could make some sort of script to do it for me. Hmmm. Guess I'm going to have to learn some PHP or something.

Follow up to: Faces In The CrowdMy wife took the Physical Attraction Test last night and it gave her this result as her ideal face:Hmmm... that doesn't look like me. However, the results were very interesting. It's a fun test.
Seeing as I am not a handsome African-American, I guess there must be something else she finds attractive about me. Maybe someday I'll figure out what it is. Until then... I'll just be happy about it.

So I'm reading Nicole-Bruni.com and she has a link to a Physical Attraction Test and I figure... what the hell... I'll give it a shot.
Surprisingly, it's remarkably good. And fun. You look at different faces and features and such and rate how attractive you find them and then it shows you the face that it thinks you would find most attractive over all. This is what it chose for me:Yeah, she's cute. but not as good looking at TBWITWW. Now that's one fine woman. Uh-huh.
There were some interesting things that the test said about my choices. While not surprising to me, it was interesting to see how my taste compares with others.

Unique Tastes In Women: You are open to seeing a variety of women as attractive. Sure, women with "movie star" good looks catch your eye, but you are often equally wowed by more normal "cute" women. You are not one to judge people based on their looks. In fact, you're genuinely drawn to women that others might dismiss. Damn right. I don't think we should be making it more difficult for homosexuals to marry... We should be making it more difficult for anyone to marry. There should be a test or something...

Anyway. Marriage should be harder, Divorce should be much harder (except in the case of abuse, but domestic abuse should carry very heavy sentences.) Seriously though. The primary advantage that a marriage sanctioned by a church has, is that most churches require some sort of counseling before the marriage, I think that should be universal. There are questions that you should know the other person's answer to, or you have no business getting married.

As a seperate issue, I've frequently commented on the fact that I don't think any political party is going to do any better or worse of a job running this country. The whole idea of this Amendment that Bush is putting forth, makes me want to clarify this. While the political parties are for the most part indistinguishable (one wants my money to go to other people one wants it to go to companies) but, some Politicians are clearly unacceptable. When people with very left leaning ideas say things such as:

It comes as no surprise to me that, as part of that strategy, George W. Bush wants to take the Constitution, a document that is supposed to limit government and guarantee freedoms to all Americans, away from millions of our fellow citizens who are homosexual.

While those on the far right say:

When people tell me that, in weighing the political choices, the war on terror should trump the sanctity of the Constitution, my response is therefore a simple one. The sanctity of the Constitution is what we are fighting for.

It tells you something... This is bad. This is Wrong. This is Evil. I don't feel that I can understate this. I now have an opinion for the 2004 election:Go Here, write to your representative and tell them to oppose this amendment.

Yesterday after a lovely breakfast with my Parents, TBWITWW called and said "We just got black canvas Chucks in, and they're on sale." and that's why she is TBWITWW. She's so damn cool. And now, thanks to my new Chucks, so am I. I haven't had a new pair of Chucks since High School. Although they're still frighteningly clean, the vast amount of mud and crap floating around in this lovely thaw we've got going should solve that problem but quick.Sweet
