So far so good. My goal last week was to drink at least 64oz of water per day. I have, so far, achieved this every day. This week's goal is to eat breakfast every day. I've been having a cup of yogurt with bran grape-nuts type cereal in it. Hopefully this will help me manage my appetite and energy level better.
I haven't made much progress on the budget front yet. Its frustrating, as I don't really know where to start assembling the data. Do you keep a budget? If so, how do you go about it? I want something that's easy to maintain, and doesn't involve a lot of duplicating data that I'm already entering in Money. (The budgeting functions in Money leave a lot to be desired.)

You might want to look at Quicken. I compared it to Money last night and I think it has more budgeting and planing functions. It also seemed like it is more user friendly. If you decide to look at it you will want to get the deluxe version. There were a couple of websites clearing out their 2007 stock for discounted pricing ($15.00 vs. $50.00). Once it's loaded it should offer to let you upgrade to 2008. (The price for the basic upgrade is $10.00, not sure what the deluxe would be.)Quicken's help desk will help you export your data from Money to Quicken. The only other thought would be to export everything into Excel do that you can paly with the numbers.
Good Luck!
Ms. PW
I use Excel spreadsheets. Partly because I spend so much time with Excel at work, I found it easier to just build a spreadsheet (based on stuff we got from our Dave Ramsey class) and enter the data than try to beat MS$ into submission.

hey Sean- Do you use any particular financial advice book to help you with your savings/budget goals? You seem to be really good at the savings part, and I stink. I also use Quicken as my register for all accounts and I like the budget functions, but again, I'm not so good to sticking to one. I need a money guru to tell me what to do.
